Florida Sun Estates takes shape in Cavite, welcomes new residentsSeptember 6, 2013
Horizon Land, a subsidiary of Federal Land, Inc., is making headway in developing the master-planned community in General Trias, Cavite with the continuing construction and occupancy of Florida Sun Estates.
The Oriental Garden Residences, the condominium phase of the master-planned residential resort community along Governor’s Drive, is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. The construction of its third building, the 2-storey Acacia, is currently in full blast.
When complete, the Acacia building will have 2-bedroom loft units with a total floor area of 46 sqm suitable for start-up families. It will join the completed and ready-for-occupancy Bellflower and Cypress buildings in the Oriental Garden Residences.
The Bellflower building boasts of 1-bedroom and bi-level units at 33-69.8 sqm, while Cypress has 1-bedroom units at 30-31.5 sqm. Residents have moved in and are enjoying Florida’s tropical paradise spirit through the main amenity, a glistening swimming pool dotted by palm trees and lush greenery.
Florida Sun Estates also has three horizontal phases namely Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa. The site development for the initial phase, Jacksonville, is complete while that of Miami, the second phase, is almost done.
The mixed-use development is set to elevate the progressive township of General Trias by providing all aspects of modern living. In Florida Sun Estates, families can choose to build their Florida-inspired homes, or choose any three house models offered by Horizon Land. One of these is the Avery, a 39 sqm single detached unit that has two bedrooms, a toilet and bath, living, dining and kitchen area. It also has a porch and provision for a carport and laundry area.
Another home model is the Burberry, which has a 55 sqm floor area and attic, and which has the same features as the Avery, but with three bedrooms. The 2-storey Canary house model has the biggest floor area of 64 sqm. It has the same features as the Burberry plus a second-floor toilet and bathroom.
Residents in Florida Sun Estates will have their own share of the Sunshine State atmosphere with resort amenities such as a swimming pool for adults, a kiddie pool, clubhouse and lush greenery. A basketball court will also be built. Additional living convenience is provided by 24-hour security and The Plaza, a commercial center where the Robinsons Supermarket as its anchor tenant.
While the architectural variety offers true blue urbanites and traditional families the fitting home within the same community, they also get their preferred modern convenience or suburban comfort outside Florida Sun Estates. Barangay Manggahan is progressive and rural at the same time. Banks, restaurants, supermarket, stores, schools, offices, gas stations and other subdivisions are in the neighborhood. Also nearby are a church, hospital, university and manufacturing plants of the New Cavite Industrial City (NCIC).
Mixing with modernity is the rustic charm of Cavite. Beyond the agricultural sights, there are the beaches of Ternate at the end of Governor’s Drive to the northwest. At the end of Crisanto delos Reyes Avenue in the south is Tagaytay with its scenic Taal Lake and Taal Volcano.
The two roads also make General Trias accessible to Metro Manila and other parts of Cavite. Public transports, from buses to shuttle vans, abound making commuting easy.
With its unique suburban appeal, Florida Sun Estates is now serving as a warm home of couples starting a family, locals looking to upgrade their house, foreigners and workers in the NCIC, the nearby Gateway Business Park in Javalera town and other industrial zones in the province.
