About the Role

The Sales Talent Acquisition, Retention & Training (START) Head is responsible for leading the START in developing recruitment and retention strategies and campaigns to ensure the manpower needs of the sales force as well as overseeing the implementation of the organization’s sales training programs in collaboration with the Head of Sales Group and Sales Channel Heads to ensure technical competency and effectiveness of the entire sales force and down-the-line generate revenue. The aim of the role is to fill various sales positions with the right talent, on time, in full and aims to build FLI as an organization of choice, conducts periodic analysis to determine gaps and training needs per level. Determines training requirements by studying sales and marketing strategic plans vis-a-vis current sales results and empirical data. Regular review on all sales training modules and training methodology to keep attuned with the fluid Real Estate trends and dynamics.

Key Responsibilities
  • He or she is responsible in monitoring the performance of strategies and START executions/plans including set budgets, post activity analysis, sales talent performance and sales talents’ satisfaction over time.
  • He/She is also responsible for the development of strategies on recruitment materials and content for both traditional platforms as well as digital or internet ready platform such as: blogs and infographics for use on both social media, company microsites and corporate website.
  • He/She is also responsible for maintaining a recruitment database system for all past and ongoing talents that will serve as a basis for modeling preferred sales candidates.
  • He/She is also responsible in the development of various Sellers’ Engagement Activities that will support retention.
  • He/She is also responsible in overseeing the contract presentation during NRO, onboarding orientation and training, processing of sellers’ onboarding requirements (inbound-outbound).
  • He/She is also responsible in conducting ‘SME’ training (Subject Matter Expert) during New Recruit Orientation– NRO.
  • He/She is also responsible in overseeing the Division Coordinators that includes regular performance review, meetings (through General Assembly) and processing of their payroll.
  • He/She is also responsible in the periodic performance review of sellers including, but not limited to, succession planning.
  • He/She is also responsible in the proper selection of Sales Leaders prior to endorsement to upper management.
  • He/She is responsible for continuously developing effective and relevant training programs to all sellers.
  • He/She is responsible in ensuring that the sellers are equipped in the selling battlefield.
  • He/She is responsible to check on the gaps and key areas for improvement to prevent seller fall-out.
  • He/She is responsible in conducting Advanced Training Courses to sustain competency of the salesforce.
  • He/She ensures completeness and comprehensiveness of training programs for all new hires and continuous training for the entire sales force.
  • He/She monitors the sellers’ development and provide one-on-one coaching to the salesforce as necessary.
  • Engages in one-on-one reviews with the sellers to maximize performance.
  • Strategizes new training methods to be implemented as necessary.
  • Partners with the Sales Leaders to gauge progress of their downlines towards goals.
  • Collects and interprets data to determine effectiveness of training techniques.
  • Writes and publishes training materials.
  • Develops a Revalida Program which includes, among other things, Presentation Skills, Technical/Project Know-How, Objection Handling and Closing Skills.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Bachelor Degree (Human Resources, Psychology (AB or BS, Business, Marketing, Communication Arts and other related fields)
  • At least 15 years of experience as Sales Leader and/or Sales Talent & Training Head: proficient in non-traditional recruitment platforms such as web marketing or social media marketing with graphic design skills is an advantage
  • Drive for results and leaderships skills
  • An understanding of sales recruitment, sales training, change management and development is key
  • Highly creative with the ability to think out of box
  • Proven ability to develop results-based recruitment and retention programs as well as sustainable staffing strategies
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices for employment
  • Comfortable working with numbers, measures and spreadsheets
  • Must be able to discern between preferred and unsuitable candidates and make quick and firm decisions on selection
  • Must be able to know when to disengage recruits as needed
  • Has no issues with field work (job fairs) and domestic travel.
  • Must be able to engage service providers and demand delivery of expectations from contracted services
  • Must have collaborative skills and work in an environment to have various functions, provides the necessary support and assistance
  • Over time, has the ability to map out the following: Sales positions competencies and job descriptions. Career pathing of sales talents
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Recruitment and Sales Training expert and has a wide network in the Real Estate Industry with proven track record in increasing audience and retaining/training sales talents.
  • Organizational development and change management
  • Must have the ability to spot trends (in recruitment and sales training) and changes in the environment that will impact the creation and retention of a good sales talent pool.
