Peninsula Garden Midtown Homes opens main access road
Top officials of Horizon Land, Federal Land Inc., and the Manila City government recently inaugurated the Garden Road of Peninsula Garden Midtown Homes, the exclusive access to Manila’s biggest kid-friendly garden community in Paco, Manila.
Dr. George S.K. Ty, chairman of the Metrobank Group of companies, and Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which formally opened the main access road of the 8-tower development.
Peninsula Garden Midtown Homes is strategically located between Manila and Makati cities. The Garden Road serves as an easy access to downtown Manila, which connects to Quirino Avenue Extension-OTIS. The other access road and gate, through Peñafrancia Street, is another way to Makati City.
In his speech before officials and guests of the Garden Road Inauguration ceremony, Mayor Lim congratulated Horizon Land, a subsidiary of Federal Land, for helping develop the city and improve its image through various residential projects.
Mayor Lim said, “that in the planning of this development, the Ty family is a seasoned developer, whose development also benefits its surroundings.” The Mayor also recognized Horizon Land for leading property developments in Manila. He hopes that Horizon Land will continue to build more developments in the city.
Each of the project’s eight residential towers will have mostly 2-bedroom units with floor areas of 33.6 to 35.2 square meters. The first tower, the 16-storey Molave, is scheduled for turnover in 2012. The other towers under construction are the Maple, Narra and a multi-level carpark.
Thoughtful amenities and kid-friendly facilities ensure homeowners an active lifestyle and more play time for children without leaving the community premises. There is an adult and children swimming pool, children’s play area, kiddie art center, music room, gazebo, jogging path and promenade, a meditation garden, basketball court, clubhouse, fitness center, day care center, study center and a computer/game room.
The 2-hectare property will allot 50% of open space and lush greeneries with the residential buildings interspersed with manicured gardens. It is also bordered by a body of water, a symbol of good fortune which it brings to its residents. For safety and exclusivity, Peninsula Garden Midtown Homes has a well-lighted entrance gate, a perimeter fence and CCTV systems complemented by a 24-hour security. An administration office will take care of the facilities for residents.
Located along Quirino Avenue extension-OTIS (Penafrañcia), the project is easily accessible to schools, hospitals and retail establishments. Accessibility to major road networks such as the Quirino Avenue, United Nations Avenue and Paz Guazon Street also allows residents to reach the business and commercial districts of Binondo and Makati in just a short time. This feature allows working residents to balance their time between family and work.
Peninsula Garden Midtown Homes is a development under Horizon Land, a Federal Land subsidiary. Horizon Land is committed to developing affordable yet quality, secure and family-friendly residences. It provides Filipino families an address that is nestled in a nurturing and safe environment, thoughtfully and sensibly designed, accessible and one that will stand the test of time.
