May 25, 2019 – Federal Land, Inc. volunteers extended a helping hand in this year’s Brigada Eskwela, the Department of Education’s (DepEd) week-long caravan to clean-up and prepare public schools for the coming school year.
Federal Land’s corporate social responsibility group called M.O.V.E. (Make Our Volunteerism Enrich Lives) assembled over fifty executives and employees to participate in the 2019 Brigada Eskwela at Ciriaco P. Tinga Elementary School in Taguig City. The volunteers ensured that the school would be conducive to learning by cleaning the campus, repainting walls, and refurbishing desks and cabinets.
Federal Land also donated 1500 hard hats for the school’s earthquake drill activity and other disaster preparedness programs.
Federal Land’s first ever participation in Brigada Eskwela is part of the company’s continued commitment to support local government programs and community development.
