Marco Polo Plaza Cebu Gives Back on Marco Polo’s 763rd Birthday

Cebu City, 18 September 2017 — In time with the celebration of Marco Polo’s 763rd Birthday, hotel executives and associates of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu held its monthly CSR day together with the residents of Barangay Apas, Cebu City last September 16.
As early as 8AM, families with their children lined up as the hotel’s General Manager Brian Connelly together with hotel volunteers served them porridge and juices. A pack of useful items were also handed over to 100 families. This contained bath towels, duver covers and canned goods for their use and consumption.
The officials of Barangay Apas, headed by Brgy. Capt. Ramil Ayuman, regularly holds its monthly Medical and Feeding Programs every month catering to different sitios. This is in partnership with different government agencies and private organizations. This month, together with Marco Polo Plaza, they also have partnered with the AFP Central Command Medical Team in providing the medical services during this monthly activity.
This corporate social responsibility initiative is aimed at reaching out and giving back to the community of Barangay Apas for its continued support in providing security and assistance in different hotel events and activities.
