Federal Land, GK partnership aims to M.O.V.E. lives

As part of its on-going partnership with the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, Inc. (GK), leading property developer, Federal Land, Inc. recently built and turned over 26 new homes for families living in Pililla, Rizal. Through the “Make Our Volunteerism Enrich (M.O.V.E.) Lives” initiative, over 82 Federal Land Inc. employees from different departments participated in seeing through the completion of the homes. With this recent addition, the developer has built about 346 homes since partnering with GK in 2013. The homes are spread across 16 communities located in Metro Manila; Tarlac, Laguna, Cavite, Zambales Iloilo, Capiz, Maguindanao, and Surigao del Norte, to name few. In Tangantukan, Bukidnon, it has built a community of 20 houses, over a three-hectare land donated by the Ticbao family, for the Lumads and Dumagats residing in the area. In Northern Samar, ten additional units will be for turnover before the year ends. More are underway as Federal Land strives to meet its target of accomplishing a total of 100 houses this year.
