The Grand Midori Makati to be part of its city’s skyline soon

The Makati Skyline emanates an aura of power and money. It’s a lofty symbol of the influential movers and shakers in the business sector that shape the economy. At night, the glittering skyline pulses with life, throbbing with exhilarating action that continues well until the dawn of a new day.
The first tower of The Grand Midori Makati is expected to add dazzle and prestige to the Makati Skyline. The first of the twin tower 38-storey premier high-rise residential community is composed of 369 of mixed studio and 1-3 bedroom units.
The Grand Midori Makati is crafted with world-class Filipino artistry infused with precise Japanese discipline. It is the maiden project of a joint venture between two business titans — Federal Land, property development arm of Metrobank Group, and Orix Corporation of Japan, an integrated financial service firm.
“By the 2nd quarter of this year, construction work for the first tower of The Grand Midori Makati has already reached the 7th floor and is proceeding as planned. Installation of the precast wall has been conducted at the 3rd floor while preparation has also begun at the basement. The construction progress is already visible along Bolanos Street and Legazpi Street in Makati.” explained by Mr. Jose Mari Banzon, general manager of Federal Land.
The Grand Midori Makati is envisioned to be the landmark project that will set the benchmark for high-end condominium living. This project allows residents to experience the height of Zen living amid a fast-paced, thrilling environment with an impressive address. With its streamlined design and premium finishes, it also lives up to its reputation of a top quality development.
“The units cut sizes are also bigger than in average developments since our primary market is high profile individuals who have expensive tastes or high lifestyle standards, and are also looking for an ideal investment.” adds Banzon.
From the generous spaces of each unit, relaxing elements such as pocket Zen garden and Koi ponds to plant varieties in the common spaces, the design of The Grand Midori Makati is consistent with its sustainable, eco-friendly theme. As its names indicates, Midori (meaning “Green” in Japanese) was designed to simulate long term cost-efficiency living which are evidenced by its natural lighting and ventilation sources.
“We are envisioning The Grand Midori Makati to be a luxurious condominium that would fuse Filipino artistry and Japanese ingenuity,” begins Banzon. “Once completed, it would offer a completely grand lifestyle not only thru its modern amenities and aesthetic features but also with its impeccable attention to details that are truly functional and important for its future residents.”
Once completed, both towers of The Grand Midori Makati will also feature metered LPG services. This will be piped-in for each unit, and may be turned on anytime of the day so unit owners need not call for emergency LPG deliveries anymore.
A host of other useful amenities also await future residents who are profiled as career-driven individuals with elegant tastes. They are the ones who could readily appreciate its fine details such as the 20-meter lap pool, a well-equipped fitness center, a 100-meter jogging path and a multi-purpose room. There is also a kiddie pool and an outdoor play area to amuse the young dwellers.
Only in very few high-end condominiums can one see a porte cochere or drop-off area such as the one featured in the development. This elegant driveway leads directly to the building grand lobby so residents and visitors can be picked up with ease and expediency. Adding to convenience are easy access points via the entrance and exit spots located along Legazpi and Bolaños Streets.
The tranquil opulence of the project is backed by state-of-the-art security so residents can enjoy life to the fullest without having to worry about the safety of their family and their home. Round-the-clock roving guards, electronic elevator key cards that allow only the residents and their guests access to floor of their units, as well as dual CCTV mounted in common areas and all residential floors are among its security measures.
Crafted with the residents’ peace of mind, the project is conveniently located at the heart of the Makati Central Business District. It is just a few minutes away from the business hubs, premiere shopping and lifestyle destinations and major establishments such as hotels, churches, schools and banks — a feature which not only significantly cuts travel time to work and other stops but also eliminates the need to use any mode of transportation.
Tange Associates, world-renowned Japanese design firm of The Romeo Hotel in Italy, the One Raffles Place in Singapore, West Kowloon Arts and Cultural District in Hong Kong, and The Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower in Tokyo was the brains behind the luxurious common areas of the project while internationally-acclaimed Filipino architectural firm W.V. Coscolluela and Associates was also tapped to spearhead the project’s overall design. Kajima Philippines, Inc., known for being the global leader in design, engineering, construction and real estate development, is its project manager.
